Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)

If you are an adult and would like to become a member of the Catholic Church, please notify the Parish Office at sc@rgcp.org.au.

First Reconciliation &
First Holy Communion

For students in Year 3 or older.

The First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion program helps to bring your child into a deeper relationship with Jesus who offers Himself and becomes really present at every Mass. After experiencing the Lord's unconditional mercy in Reconciliation, your child will receive Jesus under the form of bread and wine for the very first time.

Confirmation

For students in Year 6 or older.

Confirmation is the special moment in your child's journey of faith when they are fully initiated into the Catholic Church. At this time, your child will receive the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit by the anointing of the Bishop or priest to assist them in living their lives of missionary discipleship.

Holy Matrimony

God created man and woman in His image and likeness and willed for them to in communion with each other, according to the communion of love between Christ and the Church. In marriage, man and woman become one flesh with the Holy Spirit being the seal of their covenant.

If you would like more information about getting married at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church or Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, please click on button to the left for more information.

Anointing of the Sick and Dying

By the sacred Anointing of the Sick and the prayer of the priests, the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that He may raise them up and save them. And indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ.
